About teacherhousing.com

We are an independent publication. We cover school employee housing because districts, teachers, and reporters kept asking the same questions and no one was keeping the record.

Editorial standards

Public documents over news coverage, and news coverage over anything else. Nothing is published from memory. Every number carries a date and a link to its source. Developer and district statements are labeled as such. We report failed and stalled projects with the same care as successful ones. We do not publish press releases.

Independence and disclosure

teacherhousing.com has no financial relationship with any developer, district, lender, or other organization it covers. No listing, project entry, or article is paid for. Organizations appear in the Directory and in the Index because they have a verified project, program, or published work in the field, and every one is described with the same fields and the same sourcing standard.

Methodology

A project enters the Index only when a public document supports it. Each field links to the document behind it, every entry records the date it was verified, and entries are re-checked every six months or sooner when a reader flags a change. Full details on the Data page.

Corrections

We correct errors within one business day and log every correction publicly. Report an error to editor@teacherhousing.com.

Team

teacherhousing.com is written and edited by its editorial team. Every published item is checked by an editor against the source documents linked on the page.
